About Our Business
Flash n Dash King of Wings Catering LLC is co-owned by Marlo and Alania Vinson. Read on to learn more about how the company was born.
How We Started
Flash and Dash started out renting commercial kitchens while prepping our food to sell at youth sports games, pop-up shops, community outreach events and have now started catering company luncheons. We appreciate all the love and support from our customers as we continue to grow.
Get to Know the Owners
Marlo of Montgomery, Alabama and his wife, Alania of Detroit, Michigan, met in 2015 at a youth football game where he coached. They shared many talks about football and found out that both had a strong passion for cooking. After many in-house cooking competitions and challenges, the two joined in marriage in March 2017.
Together, Marlo and Alania share five boys. With a house full of growing boys, it was important for them to create a financial plan for their family. Marlo and Alania spent a great deal of time brainstorming and praying for the best business venture that would also allow them to teach their family how to manage and save money, as well as have more time for activities.
In 2019, God blessed Marlo with a vision, so he decided to retire as the head coach of his football team and pursue cooking. He and his wife decided to sell personal dinners at the same games Marlo once coached. It was perfect since he knew many players and their families.
In June 2019, Flash n Dash King of Wings Catering LLC was born.
The business is now on the rise of becoming a household name all across the valley.
